CD Projekt RED e Yigsoft hanno annunciato The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered per PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 e PC tramite Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG e Battle.net. Sarà rilasciato il 29 settembre.
Gli utenti che possiedono già The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt riceveranno gratuitamente l’upgrade alla versione Remastered, che includerà anche le espansioni “Hearts of Stone” e “Blood and Wine”. Gli utenti che possiedono già il gioco su Nintendo Switch potranno riceverli gratuitamente su Nintendo Switch 2, sia per il formato digitale che fisico.
Inoltre, CD Projekt RED e Fool’s Theory hanno pubblicato il teaser trailer dell’espansione di The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt intitolata “Songs of the Past”, prevista per il 2027.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered introduce numerosi miglioramenti alla grafica, alle prestazioni, al gameplay e ad altri aspetti del gioco. I giocatori potranno vivere l’intera epica avventura con una grafica migliorata, combattimenti rinnovati, spostamenti e movimento migliorati, nuovi effetti per i Segni da witcher, gestione della cavalcatura migliorata, comportamenti dei mostri più avanzati, una revisione dell’albero delle abilità, la possibilità di modificare l’aspetto dell’equipaggiamento, una modalità fotografica ampliata, nuove mosse finali e molto altro.
“Songs of the Past”
Un teaser di Songs of the Past è stato mostrato durante la Gamescom Opening Night Live e ha rivelato la nuova regione di Letten. Questa terra idilliaca è ricca di tradizioni rurali e folklore, e i suoi abitanti conducono una vita prospera fatta di raccolti abbondanti e sontuosi festival.
Ma un oscuro segreto si nasconde appena sotto la superficie e Geralt dovrà affrontare nemici mai visti prima mentre cerca di sconfiggere il male rimasto dormiente per lungo tempo.
CD Projekt RED terrà presentazioni guidate di “Songs of the Past” e dell’upgrade Remastered durante la gamescom, nel padiglione 8.1 dell’area entertainment. Per chi non sarà presente, nel corso dell’evento saranno trasmesse speciali presentazioni REDstreams su YouTube e Twitch, ognuna delle quali approfondirà aspetti specifici di “Songs of the Past” e Remastered.
Le espansioni esistenti sono ora gratuite
Come ulteriore sorpresa per i giocatori, tutti i possessori di The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt riceveranno oggi gratuitamente le due espansioni originali, “Hearts of Stone” e “Blood and Wine”.
L’annuncio è stato fatto sul palco dal conduttore della Gamescom Opening Night Live Geoff Keighley. I giocatori che non hanno ancora provato le acclamate espansioni potranno quindi farlo prima dell’uscita di Remastered a settembre.
Collaborazione con Blizzard Entertainment
CD Projekt RED ha inoltre annunciato una collaborazione con Blizzard Entertainment per portare The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered e “Songs of the Past” su Battle.net.
Chi acquisterà l’espansione sulla piattaforma di Blizzard sbloccherà una skin ispirata a Geralt in Diablo IV, con ulteriori dettagli che saranno condivisi quando CD Projekt RED parteciperà alla BlizzCon a settembre.
